Our Counselling Team

Our Hospice Counselling Team work with individual clients in our dedicated counselling rooms. They also make daily visits to patients in our Inpatient Unit; supporting patients in a holistic way as well as developing a relationship with and being present for families and loved ones. Our Hospice Counsellors also play a key role in the Wellbeing Centre, with our Bereavement Support Service, and by facilitating the Men’s Group, Carer’s Group, Bereavement Group, Wellbeing Walks as well as The Nightbird Project; (creative wellbeing sessions supporting people living with and affected by life-limiting illnesses to express the important stories of their lives in creative and therapeutic ways.)

Our Counselling facilities

We have two dedicated counselling rooms used for client counselling appointments which are located in quieter areas of the Hospice, both offer a calming environment from which to speak to our Counselling Professionals. As a patient on our Inpatient Unit, a member of our Counselling Team would come to visit you in your private room to provide counselling and therapeutic support.
