Counselling for loved ones

As well as supporting our patients being cared for on our Inpatient Unit, our Hospice Counselling Team are on hand to provide vital support to their loved ones whilst patients are in our care and after they have sadly passed away.

Counselling at Dr Kershaw's Hospice

Our Counselling Team

Our Counselling Team provide a compassionate and non-judgmental listening ear, offering care, respect and dignity during challenging times to the loved ones of our patients. Our Hospice Counsellors work one-to-one with individual clients in a calm, peaceful environment in one of our dedicated counselling rooms. To find out more about accessing a counselling assessment, please contact the Hospice Counselling Team.

Our Counselling facilities

We have two dedicated counselling rooms used for client counselling appointments which are located in quieter areas of the Hospice, both offer a calming environment from which to speak to our Counselling Professionals.

I didn’t know what to expect, but the Hospice’s Counselling Service has been wonderful, supportive and refreshing.
