Nebuliser Therapy

Course Details

A thorough and informative training session, focusing on the use of nebuliser therapy to improve clinical condition and promote a patient’s comfort. The anatomy and physiology of the respiratory tract will be explored to gain an understanding of the benefits and precautions to be considered when administering nebulisers.

Who is This Course for?

Trained staff required to administer nebulisers as part of their job role.

What Will the Course Cover?

The anatomy and physiology of the lungs and respiratory tract, in relation to the mechanisms of breathing and the considerations for individual patient management.

Pre-Course Requirements

Experience in caring for / exposure to patients requiring nebuliser therapy, or an interest in enhancing your clinical skills.

How Will the Course be Taught?

Face-to-face delivery in a group, involving some group work or work in pairs, utilising our state-of-the-art simulation mannequin to demonstrate and practise clinical skills.
