Your 2025 Reindeer Run

At Christmas, we ask pupils from local schools and nurseries across the community to don their reindeer antlers to raise money for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, in support of patient care. You can even sign up to the Reindeer Run with your own child at home to support our Hospice.

Your Reindeer Run can take place on the date of your choice at any time in November or December.

The Reindeer Run Lowdown:

• Make everyone smile! Organise your own sponsored Reindeer Run on a day and in the way that you want to.
• We provide everything you need to deliver your Reindeer Run.
• You will receive a free reindeer antler headband and thank you certificate for each child taking part.
• An adult Santa suit will be provided to help to keep your reindeer group together.
• To help organise and promote your Reindeer Run we will provide templates of letters to send home with your pupils.
• Also provided are images for your website, emails and personalised posters.
• Self-seal sponsorship envelopes will be provided to collect donations.
• We will collect your envelopes and provide you with the total raised.

749 children from schools including: Whitegate End Primary School, Thorp Primary School, Waterhead School, Burnley Brow School, Brooklands Nursery and St Edwards Primary School took part in Reindeer Runs in 2024 raising over £8,000! This incredible total will enable us to care for patients and their families at a time when they need us the most, making such a difference to our Hospice!
